May 24, 2010 · #1 STX 12f problems at high hours discussion 05-24-2010, 05:08 PM I have an 07 12f that is at 85 hours an climbing fast. I ride pretty hard, but I take really good care of it by flushing it after every ride, cleaning it, changing the oil and plugs every season, lubricating the engine etc.

When I put the new battery in it had no electrical power so I checked the fuses and they were both blown. 05-09-2005, 01:30 PM. Help! 2003 Kawasaki stx 12f has been in the shop 7 or more times, the dealership has not been able to fix it. the problem continues to be the same the craft will suddenly slow down and hesitate usually after it has been in the water for about 10 or 15 mins. from that point on it will not pick up speed over 35.

Mar 24, 2009 · Welcome to the forum. The 12F is a good ski, its very reliable, and there arent any issues w/ this platform. That being said, $5500 is pretty high. someone can probably pick the ski up new, out the door with a trailer for 7k. and 15F's w/ the same hours are going for 5500-6000. It is recommended that you run 87 octane in the motor, not 91 or 93.
